Since Origami King (and some Colour Splash) got me into Paper Mario in the first place, I feel like the reason why I like some classic Paper Mario is because of that one side of the community hating modern Paper Mario and glazes the classic trilogy.

I kinda get why that side of the community glazes classic PM because I am this close 🤏 to beating TTYD and the story and battle system got me genuinely invested and it was very different to Origami King, but I don’t get why some of the classic fans hate modern PM because of its difference to classic PM. They say that the reason to why modern PM is "not as good" as classic PM is the lack of original characters and different battle system, change of story plots, game gimmicks, ect… And to that I say, even though if things are different, the modern trilogy games are still good in their own ways and can even be enjoyable to some people, and possibly even to the classic fans if they choose to be more open minded.

TLDR Even though the modern trilogy is infamous and overlooked, it can still be good in their own aspects, and could be enjoyable to anyone if they give it a chance.

You know how Concordia is based off electronics and electricity and stuff related to that? Glohm, the strange evil substance, is possibly a portmanteau of Gloom, because it makes people extra gloomy, and Ohm, which is the standard unit of electrical resistance, named after the German scientist, Georg Ohm. It's a connection I made a little too late, but when I was writing this, I was in science class learning about Ohm. Was I the only one who didn't know about this?
